A quick note for all you internet users out there.
Which is all of you.
Many PCs have been infected with malware.
Here’s the abbreviated version:
Many computers have been infected over time with software that points them to bad servers when they look up internet website addresses.
So many computers were infected, that when the FBI shut down the group, they left up clean address servers to keep all the infected machines online.
Those servers are being shut down at 1201 AM EST, Monday, 9 July.
To check if your machine is infected, go to http://www.dns-ok.us/ to test.
Also, this Washington Post article has more information and useful links to check and repair your computer if necessary.
Because if you got knocked off line, you wouldn’t be able to visit Guapola.
And that would just suck.

I already checked mine. But, since I am a hypochondriac, I do not believe the website when it tells me that I am virus free. I think my computer has the kitty litter virus, too.

well, Guap, will the “checkup” work even if I’m color blinded!?!?!? or colorblindfolded?!?!? I’m w/Mrs Cap’n Firepants and the kitty litter virus thingy… really, I think it’s the HEAT!!! My poor kitties are actually breathing with their mouths open, and they NEVER do that!!! Srsly!!!

It should tell you on the bottom of the color panel whether you’re clean or not. And DO NOT let your cats near your computer.
No telling what sort of disreputable sites they’re likely to visit!
