If you go to your Dashboard page, under settings, there’s a Stop SOPA/PIPA link.
Just go to that and click Add The Ribbon near the top (2nd choice).
It will drop it right in.

I’m sick to my stomach when I think of how our freedom is slipping away. We have to start paying attention to what’s going on!! Before it is too late. We need to do whatever we can including praying for this country!

Right now, you can go back and just add a linkback giving credit to Wikipedia, Lily.
If this passes, you can potentially get tossed in the hoosegow. And you wouldn’t know until after it happened.

Great post! My entire FB newsfeed is outraged by this. The pros definitely outweigh the cons of this bill, and it can easily be used for malace instead of good.

Me too, life is a bowl of kibble.
It’s not the anti-piracy intent, it’s the way it’s written.
If a record label doesn’t like that a little girl posted a video of herself singing along to a song, they can shut down the site with minimal effort.
That’s a bit drastic, forgetting about all the other censorship mechanisms built in.

Thanks for the shout out and for spreading the word on the protest. I blacked out my page today – just brought it back up about 30 minutes ago. I also emailed my congress people since they are the ones voting on it though they don’t always listen to me.

I was able to get through by phone to one senator’s office. The line at the other one was busy all day.
Also read that individual senator web pages were crawling because of the traffic volume.
